I was really excited to be asked my opinion about Japanese knotweed (I believe it's translated to parkslide in Sweedish) and the impact it has on the built environment. In Sweeden they have the same problem and are developing codes of practices etc.. However the awareness of the plant by the general public isn't so great, which I believe is contributing to the plant spreading.
