giant hogweed? not Japanese knotweed..?

Writer: Longfield Knotweed Solutions LtdLongfield Knotweed Solutions Ltd

This is the second site I have visited this month where I am monitoring the Japanese knotweed (and treating it), but fount Giant Hogweed. Being a member of the Property Care Association (PCA) does mean they keep us up to date with emerging concerns and last year it was raised (again), but I am very surprised so see so much around in unsuspecting gardens.

The plants sap if touched can make peoples skin light sensitive - which can be very serious and result in blisters to the affected skin.

This little one in the photograph I injected - so looking forward to seeing it dead next time I visit.
