16th-22nd May 2022 is Invasive Species Week and Non Native Invasive Secretariat have updated their website to provide more information regarding all sorts of invasive plants and creatures that you may not have considered a threat!
Each day of the week, they will be focusing on and sharing information about a different theme. From impacts on the freshwater environment and marine environment to how people and organisations can improve their biosecurity, there is lots to learn about. Be sure to check out their website during this period to find out more about the non-native invasive species that are present in the UK and Ireland.
Of course, Japanese knotweed is still present.
